Mary Ann House was born February 29th, 1948 in Little Rock Arkansas. She resided in Arkansas for many years and attended the Arkansas Children’s Colony in Conway, AR before moving to Talladega, Alabama to be near her family and relatives.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Lonnie Watts Sr. and Frankie Mae Watts, and her parents, Mary L. Haynes & James R House.

She is survived by her aunts, Eugenia Watts & Allie Mae Watts, and cousins, Sammy & Lynn Dodson, Jeff & Vicky Hestley, Jerry & Cindi Posey, Regina Diane Watts, Jennifer Watts, Tim Watts, Lisa Watts, and Kelly Carl Anderson.

Mary Ann was a vibrant and special person. She was incredibly kind and full of joy. She loved her relatives and would often recall fond memories of all the family gatherings she attended. She loved animals, dressing up, and coloring.

She passed away on Sunday, June 1st, 2025, at Talladega Health & Rehab where she resided for the past several years. Her family would like to extend a special thank you to the Talladega Health & Rehab staff members for the wonderful care she received while there.

A graveside service will be held Friday, June 6th, 2025 at 11:30 AM at Oak Hill Cemetery in Talladega, Alabama.
