Jill Cooper Etheredge, of Pell City, went home to Jesus on May 9, 2025, at the age of 60.
Born on August 4, 1964, in Sylacauga, Alabama, Jill was the child of Tom and Nancy Cooper. As a child she loved swimming on the local swimming team with her sisters Debbie and Susan. As a teenager, being a cheerleader for her high school brought her great enjoyment. She met her husband Mark Gregory Etheredge while working at AmSouth Bank. Mark and Jill married on July 14, 1990; they enjoyed many adventures together. Jill worked for Amsouth/Regions Bank for 41 years and became lifelong friends with many of her coworkers.
Jill was a devoted and loving mother, whose greatest pride in life was her son, Cooper. She was deeply proud of the man he has become, and her love for him was unwavering and full of joy.
Jill found peace and happiness at the beach - whether it was watching the waves, looking for dolphins or walking on the shore, the ocean was her happy place. She lived a life filled with love for her family and pets. She was practically perfect in every way.
Jill is preceded in death by her mother, Nancy Hurston Cooper and grandson, Zion Sandoval.
