Obituary of Donald Thomas Hicks

Mr. Donald Thomas Hicks, 78, of Riverside, Alabama, passed away on Friday, April 25, 2025. Mr. Hicks was a beloved husband and father. He retired from Motion Industries after thirty-eight years of service. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gordon and Elizabeth Hicks. He is survived by his wife of forty-eight years, Charlotte Hicks; children, Amy Nesbitt (Matthew), Jennifer Wyatt, and Donna Williams; grandchildren, Autumn Mullins (Jake), Christian Langner, and Carson Williams; brothers, Harvey Hicks (Annette) and Bobby Hicks; and sister, Evelyn Boyd. The funeral service will be held at Usrey Funeral Home – Pell City at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, with Rev. Tim Spates officiating. A private interment will occur at Elmwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the funeral service from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the entire staff at the Village at Cook Springs.
