Sara Mellon Henderson, 85, of Talladega, AL passed away at her home on Tuesday, April 01, 2025. A celebration of life ceremony will be held in her honor at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, April 13, 2025 at Usrey Funeral Home of Talladega with Mike Gatch officiating. Her family will receive friends at the funeral home for one hour prior to the service.
Mrs. Henderson was a native and lifelong resident of Talladega County and a member of Shiloh United Methodist Church. She retired from South Central Bell.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles H. Henderson.
Mrs. Henderson is survived by her daughter, Terri Henderson Ward; sister, Maretta Hall; brothers, Jimmy Mellon, Joe Mellon, and Wayne Mellon; grandchildren, Brittany Henderson Deguiera (Nilo) and Cody Henderson (Tim Williams), and great-grandchildren, Xayne Green and Salem Green.
