Obituary of Catherine Patricia Hubbard

Catherine Patricia Hubbard, 84, of Talladega, AL passed away at her home on Sunday, April 06, 2025. Her family will receive friends at Usrey Funeral Home of Talladega on Tuesday, April 08, 2025 from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. A funeral ceremony will be held in her honor at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, April 09, 2025 at First Baptist Church of Talladega with Robert Klotz officiating. Interment will follow directly after the service at Pine Hill Memorial Park. Mrs. Hubbard was a native and lifelong resident of Talladega. She graduated from Winterboro High School and worked as a dental hygienist for 52 years in Talladega and Anniston. Mrs. Hubbard was a member of First Baptist Church of Talladega where she proudly sang in the choir. She was affectionately known as “Patsy” to everyone. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Floyd Hubbard, parents, Harvey and Rosa Mae Styres, and brothers, Billy Styres and Lemuel “Tap” Styres, Mrs. Hubbard is survived by her daughter, Rosemary Hubbard Ragsdale (Randy); son Patrick Hubbard (Addison); brother, Raymond Styres (Glenda); grandchildren, Caroline Ragsdale, Craegh Ragsdale McBrayer (Kyle), Douglass Hubbard, and Beau Hubbard, and great-grandchildren, Charlie McBrayer and Grayham McBrayer. Douglass Hubbard, Beau Hubbard, Kyle McBrayer, Charles Montgomery, Tim Adams, and Randy Ragsdale will serve as pallbearers. Randall Stewart, Tommy Parker, George Montgomery, Jullian Newman, Terry King, Dell Hill, and Hugh Wiggins will serve as honorary pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, Mrs. Hubbard’s family asks that donations be made in her memory to First Baptist Church of Talladega, P.O. Box 696. Talladega, AL 35160.
