Harry Donald Milam, 74, of Talladega, AL passed away at his home on Wednesday, April 02, 2025. A funeral ceremony will be held in his honor at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, April 04, 2025 at Usrey Funeral Home of Talladega with Jacky Morgan officiating, His family will receive friends at the funeral home for one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow directly after the services at Pine Hill Memorial Park.
Mr. Milam was a native and lifelong resident of Talladega and a member of Blue Eye Baptist Church. He worked at several different textile mills throughout his life before retiring from Talladega Bureau of Federal Prisons and ATAP. He was currently employed at Honda Manufacturing of Alabama. Mr. Milam enjoyed fishing and old country music, and he was an avid University of Alabama fan. He loved his children and his grandchildren dearly.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Helen Milam; father, Leigh Jack Sullivan; brother, Edward John Sullivan, and grandparents, Mina and Troy Harry Sr.
Mr. Milam is survived by his wife, Cathy E. Milam; daughters, Christy Spates and Brandy Milam Guess (Avery); son, Harry Donald Milam Jr. (Courtney); 11 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; sisters, Diane Swinford (Terry), Patricia Branch, Janie McGee (Donny), Judy Morris (Randy), Mary Ellen Netterville, and Charlotte Sheilds (Michael), and brother, Gary Sullivan(Tammy).
Ron Moses, Ron Guy, Robin Robinson, Lark Hare, Walter Smith, and John Sprayberry will serve as pallbearers.
