Mrs. Virginia Sue Wright Reaves, 97, of Lincoln, Alabama, passed away on March 28, 2025. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Thomas Reaves Jr; daughter, Charlotte Reaves; and brother, James Carl Wright. She is survived by her daughter, Jane Suzette Reaves Youngblood (Joe); grandson, Gary Brett Youngblood (Leyanis); granddaughters, Kimberly Youngblood Keating (George); Leah Youngblood Montgomery (Mike), and Suzanne Youngblood Tribble (Nathan); great-grandchildren, Fernando Ray Youngblood, Lydia Keating Houston, Anna Keating Parsons, George Ethan Thomas Keating, Emmalee Elizabeth Keating, Jaiden Roderic Montgomery, Micaiah Montgomery Howard, Georgia Gray Tribble, and Lola James Tribble; and great-great-grandchildren, Ila Houston, Ivy Houston, Rowen Parsons, and Hazel Parsons. The family will receive friends at Usrey Funeral Home – Pell City from 3:00 pm until 5:00 pm on Sunday, March 30, 2025. The funeral service for Mrs. Reaves will be held at Usrey Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, March 31, 2025, followed by interment at Oak Ridge Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jaiden Montgomery, Ethan Keating, Fernando Youngblood, Brian Parsons, Chi Houston, and Grant Howard. Condolences may be offered online at www.usreyfuneralhome.com. Usrey Funeral Home – Pell City is in charge of arrangements.
