Mrs. Doris Ann Suttle, 82, of Talladega, Alabama, passed away on March 23, 2025. Doris was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister who will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Dianne McArthur, and her parents, Clyde and Ruby Jones. She is survived by her husband, Gene Suttle; her sons, Douglas Holmes, Steven Holmes (Loretta), and Richard Holmes (Stacy Dodd); her grandchildren, Daniel McArthur, Jason Holmes, Steven Holmes, Kristin Holmes, Michael Holmes, Dustin McArthur, Douglas Holmes Jr., and Josh Holmes; as well as five great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Jeanette Binford, her brother, Edward Jones, and her son-in-law, David McArthur. Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation on Thursday, March 27, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Usrey Funeral Home – Pell City. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m., officiated by Bro. Lonnie Skinner. Interment will take place at St. Clair Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to The Gideons International or a local animal rescue organization in Doris’s honor.
