Harry Leon Fain, 83, of Talladega, AL passed away on Saturday, March 15, 2025. A funeral ceremony will be held in his honor at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, March 20, 2025 at Usrey Funeral Home of Talladega with Kevin Jones officiating. His family will receive friends at the funeral home for one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow directly after the ceremony at Midway Memory Gardens.

Mr. Fain was born in Eden, AL but was raised in Lincoln before eventually moving to Talladega. He graduated from a high school in Jamestown, New York, and retired from Avondale Mills in Sylacauga after over 30 years of service. Mr. Fain thoroughly enjoyed the time that he spent working at Avondale Mills where he received many awards for his attendance and safety even earning a trip to Washington, D.C. before his retirement. He was a member of Blue Eye Baptist Church for many years. He was very skilled at designing and making lamps which he gifted to his family and friends. He also loved vacationing in Florida whenever he could. He was a good and honest man who would help anyone that he could. Mr. Fain was a loving brother and father who will be missed greatly.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Roseau and Odell Fain.

Mr. Fain is survived by his daughter, Rose Mary Fain, sister, Barbara Sue Khan (Khalid), and a host of beloved grandchildren.

Douglas Chipley, Tommy Mullinax, Mike Mitchell, Bryan Fain, Larry Mullinax, Austin Stewart, and Luther Lackey will serve as pallbearers.

The Winterboro Volunteer Fire Department members will serve as honorary pallbearers.
