Henrietta Gaither Neville, age 74, of Talladega, passed away peacefully on January 25, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on October 25, 1950, to the late Henry Shade Gaither and Margaret Geneva Gaither.

Henrietta was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Billy Wayne Neville, and her siblings, Steve Dickson Gaither and Alice Faye Parton. She is survived by her daughters, Shana Camara (married to Luke Camara) and Dana Theilacker (married to Chris Theilacker), and her cherished grandchildren: Kaela Camara, Rebekah Theilacker, Mayer Camara, Anna Theilacker, Elli Camara, and Karis Camara. Henrietta was also a devoted sister to Sara Ann Pilkington, Jewel Dean Russell, Inez Ferguson, Danny Gaither, and Ralph Gaither. She leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family who will deeply miss her.

A talented artist and passionate history enthusiast, Henrietta’s creativity and curiosity were evident in everything she did. She was known for her generosity, often giving gifts and providing items to meet the needs of others. Henrietta’s love extended beyond her immediate family, especially to Candace Sutton, whom she lovingly considered as a daughter.

A visitation will be held at Usrey Funeral Home in Talladega on Tuesday, January 28 from 5-7pm.

Graveside services will be held at Stockdale Baptist Church on Wednesday, January 29 at 3pm.

Henrietta’s legacy of love, generosity, and creativity will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and all who knew her. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
