Obituary of Jennifer Smith Milstead

Jennifer Smith Milstead was born July 13, 1952, to Atkins and Annette McCostlin Smith. She was a lifelong resident in the Talladega/Winterboro area and graduated from Winterboro High School in 1970. She met and married Jimmy Lane Milstead October 9, 1971. They have one daughter Marsha Shane Milstead and one grandson Houston Smith. Jennifer volunteered for many years with the Winterboro Volunteer Fire department. She also worked as a Child Care Center worker, Substitute Teacher, and in earlier years at the Credit Bureau in Talladega. She loved to travel and loved watching movies. Jennifer is proceeded in death by her husband Jimmy Lane Milstead, parents Atkins and Annette Smith, and sister Nancy Carol Smith. Jennifer is survived by her daughter Marsha Shane Milstead, grandson Houston Lane Smith, and Brother David Smith. Brother-in-Law. Mike Milstead and Brother-in-law Randy Milstead and many aunts and cousins. Memorial Service will be held at Winterboro Community Church Friday December 27 at 11am. In lieu of Flowers please make donations to the American Heart Association. Usrey Funeral Home in Talladega assisting family.
