John Larry Horn, 82, of Munford, AL passed away on Tuesday, October 08, 2024. A graveside ceremony will be held in his honor at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, October 11, 2024 at Pine Hill Memorial Park with Russ Vickers and Steve Oliver officiating. His family will receive friends at Usrey Funeral Home of Talladega from 9:30 A.M. until 10:30 A.M. prior to the service.

Mr. Horn was a native and lifelong resident of Talladega County. He was the owner and operator of Larry Horn Logging Company and a member of Talladega Church of Christ. Mr. Horn loved the outdoors and enjoyed going to his cabin on Cemetery Mountain. He was an avid University of Alabama fan who enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Virginia Horn; parents, John Kelly Horn and Catherine Horn Redmon; brother, Steve Redmon, and grandchildren, Andrew Horn and Hunter Harry.

Mr. Horn is survived by his son, Kelly Horn (Angelia); daughters, Kathy Oliver (Steve) and Kimberly Horn; 6 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.

Jeremy Horn, Wesley Horn, Nick Talton, Zachary Oliver, Eric Wigington, and David Bright will serve as pallbearers.
