Obituary of Sarah Bice Brewster

Mrs. Sarah Bice Brewster, 81, of Ragland, Alabama passed away on Monday, December 26, 2022.
Mrs. Brewster was a member of New Prospect Missionary Baptist for many years. She was a former cook at The Ark catfish restaurant for over fifteen years.
She was preceded in death by her son, Lloyd Ray Brewster, Jr.; sisters, Annie Mae Willingham, Margaret Jones, and Annette Jones; and brothers, Joe Bice, William Bice, and Arthur Bice.
She is survived by her husband, Lloyd Brewster; sons, Gary Brewster (Shirley), Earnest Ira Brewster (Darlene), and Jessie Lee Brewster (Gaye); sister, Susie McDill; brother, Tom Bice (Debbie); eleven grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be officiated by Rev. Jeff Sherrell at 2:00 pm on Thursday, December 29, 2022 at New Prospect Missionary Baptist Church. Interment will follow the funeral service at Popes Chapel Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 5:30 pm until 7:00 pm on Wednesday, December 28, 2022, at Usrey Funeral Home – Pell City.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to the Popes Chapel Cemetery Fund.
