Obituary of Samuel Robert Gunter

Mr. Samuel Robert Gunter, 84, of Pell City, Alabama passed away on March 24, 2018 in Gadsden.　

Mr. Gunter operated Sam's Barber Shop on Wolf Creek Road. He was the Market Manager for A&P Grocery where he started his meat cutting career, working at several grocery stores over the years.

He is survived by his wife, Jean Gunter; daughters, Pam Thompson (Eddie), Tracie Wright (Danny) and Robbie Gunter Young (Kris); sons, Sammy Gunter and Tim Gunter (Kathy); grandchildren, Chris Gunter, Keri Gunter, Anna Turner, Kristina Palmer, April Moore, Seth Johnson and Caleb Johnson; great-grandchildren, Jackson Gunter, Piper Turner, Thomas Scales, Boyd Scales, Caroline Moore, Ayla Palmer, Millie Turner, Gunter Johnson, Rylee Moore and Zoe Palmer.

The funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday March 28, 2018 at Usrey Funeral Home, Pell City, with the Rev. Patrick Horn, Bill Hereford, April Moore, and Brandon Turner officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.

 Visitation will be Wednesday from 12:00 - 1:00 pm at the funeral home.
