Obituary of Helen Ester Gaither Gurley

Helen Gaither Gurley, 88, went to be with our Lord and Savior February 19, 2018 at her residence. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm, Thursday February 22, 2018 at Stockdale Baptist Church with Kevin Jones and David Gaither officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 pm Wednesday February 21, 2018 at Usrey Funeral Home.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Taylor Gurley; daughters, Janet Lloyd, Sue Gurley; parents, Marshall and Cordelia Gaither; 1 brother and 3 sisters.

Her survivors include daughter, Maxine (Bill) Cole; son-in-law, Ronnie Lloyd; grandson, Ron Lloyd; granddaughters, Christin Cole, Erika Weldon (Cody), Amanda Thornton (Clay); great-grandchildren, Pierce Cole, Landon Weldon, Isabella Weldon and Olivia Thornton.

Pallbearers will Kenny Gurley, Tony Parton, Cody Weldon, Tim Armbrester, Rex Gaither, and David Gaither.

Honorary pallbearers will be Bill Cole, Landon Weldon, Pierce Cole, Ron Lloyd, Ronnie Lloyd, Blake Gaither, Jim Parton, S. A. Parton, Watson Gaither, George Armbrester, Bob Langley, Michael Gaither and Roger Searcy.
