Obituary of Hunter James Alverson

~ Mr. Hunter James  Alverson , 17, of Ragland, Alabama passed away on November 13, 2017 in Ragland.

He was preceded in death by his Granny (Jean Layton) and by his MawMaw (Frances Alverson).

He is survived by his parents, Jeff and Jo Alverson; sister, Chelsey Alverson; grandfathers, Jerry Layton, and Skeet Alverson (Virginia); his best buddy,  Buster; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday November 16, 2017 at Hardin's Chapel Bible Church with Bro. Doug Ford and Bro. Mike Allums officiating.  Interment will follow at Box Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, November 15, 2017, 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Usrey Funeral Home, Pell City.

Pallbearers will be Jeff Reaves, Les McCullough, Lamar Ingram, Stephen Bunt, Rookie Smith and David Carlisle.  Honorary pallbearers will be the Hardin's Chapel Prayer Warriors, Terry Sloan's Sunday School Class, Judy Mayer's Sunday School Class, Caleb Clark, Elan Lee and Corben Mowery.
