Obituary of Patricia Ann Osburn

Patricia Ann Osburn, 72, passed away at her home on October 20, 2017. Funeral service will be at 2:00 pm, Saturday, October 21, 2017 at Usrey Funeral Home in Talladega with Jeff Thomas officiating. Burial will follow at Midway Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at Usrey Funeral Home on Saturday October 21, 2017 from 1:00 until 2:00 pm.

A beloved wife, mother and grandmother. She grew up in Lincoln, AL and attended Lincoln High School. She lived her life in Talladega and was the first female manager of A & P Foods. She later went on to own and operate Pat’s Place in Childersburg, AL.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Jimmy A. and Rachel B. Thomas; her brothers, Billy Thomas and Ronnie Thomas.

She is survived by her loving husband, Edwin Jewell, Jr ; daughters, Shunn McClellan (Jimmy) of Sylacauga, AL., Susan Snider (Thad) of Ethelsville, AL. ; son, Edwin Jewell III of Munford, AL. ; sister, Mary Cheatwood (Wayne) of Talladega; brothers, Lawrence Thomas (Judy) of Talladega, Jimmy W. Thomas of Childersburg, Jeff Thomas (Carolyn) of Sylacauga, Les Thomas (Sherry) of Lancaster, SC. ; granddaughters, Myranda Thacker, Saryna R. Thacker of Talladega, Megan McClellan (Ricky) of Moody, AL.; grandsons, Edwin Jewell IV of Munford, Josh Jewell of Oxford, AL., and Daniel McClellan of Chelsea, AL., as well as many more family and friends who truly loved her.

Pallbearers will be Daniel McClellan, Jimmy McClellan, Thad Snider, Bradly Smith, Frank Thomas and Benton Foster.

Honarary pallbearers will be Lawrence Thomas, Jimmy Thomas, Jeff Thomas, Ricky Jewell, John Jewell and Les Thomas.
