Obituary of Ruth Phillips Dison

Ruth Phillips Dison, 97 of Talladega passed away September 22, 2017. Funeral services will be held 2:00pm Wednesday September 27, 2017 at Usrey Funeral Home Chapel in Talladega with private burial in Pine Hill Memorial Park. Her family will receive friends from 12:30pm until 2:00pm Wednesday at Funeral Home. Rev. Kory Burel will officiate the service. Mrs. Dison was a lifelong Baptist and a Member of Bemiston Baptist Church, Avid gardener and retired from Bemis Bag Company after 30 years. She is preceded in death by her husband Tobie Wilson Dison, brothers Calvin Phillips and his wife Aileen, Cleveland Phillips and James Phillips. She is survived by her sons Dale Dison and Ronald Dison (Margie), grandchildren Delanie Dison Condor, Dawn Dison Lee, Darryl Dison and Randall Dison, great grandchildren Kelsey Lee, Ian Condor, Taylor Dison, Jacob Lee, Drew Dison, Sean Condor and Olivia Dison, sisters Essie Phillips Morgan, and Annette Phillips Moore, sisters-in laws Louise Phillips and Helen Phillips. Usrey Funeral Home in Talladega will direct services.
