Obituary of Gary Eugene Williams

Funeral services for Mr. Gary Eugene Williams will be Sunday August 20 2017, Usrey Funeral Home Chapel 1:00 pm with burial to follow at Goshen Cemetery in Piedmont Al. Visitation will be Saturday August 19 2017, 6:00-8:00 pm at the funeral home. Mr. Williams passed away at Optum Hospice Care  Suites in Birmingham August 18 2017. Mr. Williams was preceded in death by his father Edward Eugene “Gene” Williams Piedmont.There will be a 3:00 pm graveside at the cemetery on sunday.

Mr. Williams is survived by his Wife; Linda Williams Talladega,; Daughter Tammy Townsend(Jim) Talladega, Son; Edgar Lewis Wade II (Hope) Spanish Fort, Grandchildren; Graham and Gatlin Wade Spanish Fort, Natalie and Ella Ward Talladega. Twin Brother; Larry Edward Williams Piedmont. Mother; Sarah Lucille Williams, Piedmont.

Pallbearers will be Lane Luker, Ricky Daniel, Jimmy Wilkins, Lenn Costner Jr., Phillip Alderman, and Rick Hollingsworth. Honorary pallbearers are Jacksonville State university ; Kappa Sigma Fraternity Brothers 1973-1977.

 Mr. Williams was a native of Piedmont and a resident of Talladega since 1992, Car Salesman in the Anniston- Oxford area for approximately 35 years, member of United Methodist Church in Piedmont ,graduate of Piedmont High School and JSU in1976. He was a loving Husband, Son, Friend ,Father, and Papaw.
