Obituary of Della Sexton Burrell

Della Sexton Burrell, 91 of Talladega, passed away July 20, 2017 at Sylacauga Health and Rehab. Her funeral service will be 3:00 pm, Sunday, July 23, 2017 at Usrey Funeral Home in Talladega with Ron Hurst officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to services at the funeral home.

Mrs. Burrell was a member of Talladega Church of Christ since the 1950’s. She retired from Newbury Manufacturing. She loved gardening and growing flowers.

She is survived by her sons, Pat Burrell (Connie), Dan Burrell, Glenn Burrell; grandson, Chad Jones (Elana); great-grandchildren, Molly, Anna Grace, and Ryals Jones; brothers, Jim, Luke, and Jonah ”Buster” Sexton; sister, Zell Collins; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Jeff and Sena Sexton; husband, William Barton Burrell; and 15 brothers and sisters.

Pallbearers will be Derek Alexander, Kevin Ansley, Butch Sexton, Clark Sexton, John Harbon Sexton, Joe Sexton, and Todd Wilson.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Talladega Church of Christ.
