Obituary of Melvin C. Reeves

Melvin C. “Buster” Reeves, Sr., age 70, passed away July 19, 2017. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, July 22, 2017 at Mt. Olive Baptist Church Cemetery in Talladega with John Denham officiating. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Usrey Funeral Home in Talladega.

Buster is preceded in death by his parents, Clinton and Lavern Reeves and sister, Barbara Haynes.

He is survived by his sons, Melvin C. Reeves, Jr., Kevin Reeves (Sara); daughter, Marisa Reeves; brothers, Kenneth Reeves, Terry Reeves; grandchildren, Nick Brady, Rachel Fauler, Kendrick Reeves, Briana Reeves, Megan Reeves, and Brittany Reeves.

Pallbearers will be Kendrick Reeves, Aaron Haynes, Daniel Putt, Mark Haynes, and Nick Brady.
