Ellis Arnold Morgan, Sr., 82, of Talladega, AL passed away Thursday, June 1, 2017 at RMC in Anniston. Funeral services will be 1:00 pm, Monday, June 5, 2017 at Usrey Funeral Home in Talladega with Bro. Jack Washington officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Usrey Funeral Home prior to services. The family will also receive friends after services at 3:30 pm for his life celebration at Talladega Bowling Center.

Mr. Morgan was a native and lifelong resident of Talladega and attended Westside Baptist Church. He was an avid bowler, golfer, and fisherman and a loving husband, father, and grandfather.

He is survived by his wife of 47 years Betty Morgan, sons Ellis A. “E.J.” Morgan, Jr. (Brandy), Barry Morgan (Brenda), daughter Samantha Hare (Jim), step-son Barry King (Sharon), 8 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, lifelong friend Ernest “Buddy” Harrison, and his entire bowling family.

Honorary pallbearers will be grandsons Devin Morgan, Taylor Hall, and members of Talladega USBC.
