Obituary of Johnny Ray Hendon

Johnny Ray Hendon, 43, passed away Sunday, May 21, 2017. Funeral services will be 11:00 am, Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at Usrey Funeral Home in Talladega with burial following at Midway Memory Gardens. Rev. Kris Posey will officiate and the family will receive friends Monday from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the Usrey Funeral Home.

Johnny was a native of Talladega and an avid outdoorsman.

He is survived by his son Taylor Cain Hendon, daughter Shelby Raye Hendon, mother Ruby Ward, sister Staci Gaither (Rodney), brother Jeff Hendon (Shiela), nephews Austin Hendon, Riley Gaither, and niece Savannah Gaither.

He is preceded in death by his father Frank Hendon, grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Henry Hendon and Mr. and Mrs. John Gaither.

Pallbearers will be Sam Belcher, Mikie Belcher, Adam Hendon, Shane Pilkington, Clint Davis, Eugene Pettus, Shannon Adams, and Josh Hendon.
