Alfred P. Taylor, Jr., retired business owner and long- time resident of Pell City, passed away at the Robert L. Howard State Veterans Home on January 19, 2017. Mr. Taylor was born on January 22, 1929.
He is survived by his son, Stephen Taylor (Carol) of Biloxi, MS; daughters, Melodie Taylor of Vestavia Hills, AL and Crystal Barker (Jeff) of Cropwell, AL; grandson Blake Taylor of Denver, CO; granddaughters, Helen Barker of Pell City, AL and Toni Barker of Cropwell, AL; and by his sister, Carolyn Mosley of Ayden, NC.
A Memorial Service held at the Col. Robert L. Howard State Veterans Home immediately after his death was attended by family and invited guests. Mr. Taylor will be interred at a later date at his birth place in North Carolina.
