Graveside service for Robert “Rob” Bowman, 69 of Talladega will be Friday, January 20, 2017 at 2:00 pm at Pine Hill Memorial Park. Rev. Charley Bolt will officiate. His family will receive friends Friday 12:30-1:30 at Usrey Funeral Home.
Mr. Bowman passed away January 18, 2017 at Citizens BMC.
He was a native and longtime resident of Talladega. He retired from Anniston Army Depot with 20 years of service. He was a front line foot soldier in Vietnam War.
Mr. Bowman was preceded in death by parents, Woodrow and Katherine Bowman, brothers, James Bowman, Jimmy Ray Bowman, Bobby Ray Bowman, sister, Shirley Bowman
His survivors include his wife of 47 years, Brenda Bowman, sons, Robert Wayne Bowman, Steve Bowman (Tammy Jenkins), grandchildren, Lacey Wade (Cruz), Summer Colby, Kaden Bowman and Chaz Champion, great-grandchildren, Tallen Wade, Mason Kage Champion, and Piper Claire Champion, sister, Mary Welch (Larry), brothers, Danny Bowman, Larry Bowman, and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Larry Ray Bowman, Robert Presley, Ricky Jones, Tim Bowman, Barry Bowman, and PJ Thrower.
