Graveside service for Charles “CJ” Clarkson III, 66 of Talladega will be Friday, October 7, 2016 at 11:o0 am at Lincoln Cemetery. His family will receive friends Thursday from 6-8 pm at the funeral home and Friday at 10:30 am at the cemetery. Usrey Funeral Home of Talladega will direct.
Mr. Clarkson passed away October 5, 2016 at Citizens BMC.
He is preceded in death by parents, Charles and Betty Clarkson.
He was a native of West Virginia, a resident of Talladega since 1979, and a member of St. Frances of Assisi Catholic Church. He loved to fly and was a flight instructor for 37 years. He also loved driving his school bus for Lincoln where he treasured the friends he made there.
Charles is survived by his wife of years 34, Deanna Clarkson, daughter, Jenny Colley, son-in-law, Jason Colley, grandson, Hudson Colley and his dog, Tucker and many family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Dana Deese, Kolby Ingram, Jeremy Hughes, Jonathon Hughes, TJ Hughes,
Joshua Hughes, Jonathon Price, and Jerod Vise.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Jeff Hughes, Roger Hughes, Rick Bliss, and Morris Skidmore
