He was a member of the James D. Truss Masonic Lodge where he recently received his 50 year pin, and also a member of the VFW. He was preceded in death by his wife, Katie Helen Hicks. He is survived by his Son: Kyle Hicks (Paige), Grandchildren: Brandon Christopher Hicks, Matthew Kyle Hicks (Nicole), Sister: Betty Jean Perley, Brother: Tommy Coleman (Linda). Service: 11:00 am on Wednesday May 25, 2016 at Usrey Funeral Home, Pell City Clergy: Dr. Rick Reaves, Rev. Milton Harris, Rev. Steve Hale, and Rev. Dale Foote.
