Phyllis Arlene Cook, 84, of Birmingham passed away April 25, 2016. Graveside services will be 2:00 pm, Thursday, April 28, 2016 at Pine Hill Mausoleum in Talladega. The family will receive friends Thursday from 12:30 to 1:30 at Usrey Funeral Home in Talladega.
Mrs. Cook was a native of Illinois and a resident of Birmingham for the past 43 years. She was a former resident of Talladega and was self-employed as an interior decorator.
She is survived by two sons, Rickey Parkinson, Gary Parkinson, daughter Connie Walker, 8 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, brothers Gene Miller, Bob Miller, sisters Janet Wood and Sue Weaver. She was preceded in death by her parents Kenneth and Irene Miller.
