A Celebration of Life Service for Mary Frances Temple, 89 of Lincoln NE, formerly of Talladega, will be Saturday, July 16, 2016 at 11:00 am at Hepzibah Baptist Church. Rev. Kevin Jones will officiate and burial will be in the adjoining cemetery. Her family will receive friends from 10-11 am. Usrey Funeral Home of Talladega will direct.
Mary Frances Temple passed away on Friday, February 26, 2016. She was born in Talladega, AL to Jeff and Lena (Allen) Burks. She married John Temple in Kentucky and then moved back to Alabama where the 3 children were born. They moved to Michigan where Mary finished her teaching degree and served as a First Grade teacher for 16 years. “Little Mary Go-Go” loved to travel with her husband and after he passed. Mary loved to learn even to the end. Mary loved her family and her Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren.
Survivors: Daughters: Mary (Ron) Trusty and Grace (Pat) Decker. Son: John (Alma) Temple, 8 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by: Husband: John Temple, parents, 2 brothers and 1 sister.
