Obit for Ollie Pearl Carr
Ollie Pearl Carr, 89 of Talladega passed away May 25, 2015 in Ashland, Al. Funeral services will be held Friday May 29, 2015 2:00 pm at Usrey Funeral Home Chapel Talladega with burial in Pine Hill Memorial Park. The Rev Allen Layton will officiate. Her family will receive friends from 1:00 pm until 2:00pm Friday. Mrs. Carr was a native of Clay County and a resident of Talladega most of her life. She was a member of Munford Baptist Church and retired from Woolworth Department store. She is preceded in death by her parents Daniel Mason Gardner and Lillie Mae Gardner two sisters Inez Griffin and Lillie Mae Wesley. She is survived by husband Earnest Carr and sister Louise Bolton and a host of nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend their gratitude to the Clay County Nursing home for the care given to her while she been a resident of the facility. Usrey Funeral Home Talladega will direct services.
